With Partner Migrant visa Subclass 100 you can:

  • stay in Australia permanently
  • work and study in Australia
  • apply for Australian citizenship later.

Eligibility requirement:

  • to be holder of a Provisional Partner Visa
  • to provide evidences that you continue to be in a genuine and ongoing relationship with your partner who is an Australian citizen, an Australian resident resident or a New Zealand citizen.

Processing times

The processing time for a Partner Provisional visa Subclass 309 is from 15 to 20 months, and if granted, approximately 2 years after the application was lodged, the applicant will be able to lodge an application and documentation for a Partner Migrant visa Subclass 100 and to wait for it to be granted for the next 2-3 years.

With Prospective Marriage visa Subclass 300 you can go to Australia to marry your future spouse who is an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen living in Australia, and after concluding the marriage to apply for a Partner visa.

Dependent Child visa Subclass 445 allows children of permanent Partner visa applicants to stay in Australia temporarily while their parent’s permanent Partner visa application is being processed.
